This October we’re calling on the Welsh Government to put a STOP to the third party selling of puppies in Wales. We’re calling on the Welsh Government to introduce Lucy’s Law in Wales.
Following the announcement by Michael Gove that Lucy’s Law is to be introduced in England, we now need the Welsh Government to follow suit as a priority because a large number of puppy farms and some of the UK’s most prolific puppy dealers are based in Wales. Without Lucy’s Law in Wales puppy farm breeding dogs and their puppies will continue to languish behind closed doors, suffering at the hands of people who put profit before welfare.
This October we’re calling for the abuse of puppy farm breeding dogs and their puppies to STOP!
It was people power that secured Lucy’s Law in England, now we need people power to secure Lucy’s Law in Wales. Here’s how you can make a difference.
All UK residents, please sign and share our Lucy’s Law for Wales petition:
All Welsh residents, please write to your Assembly Member urging them to put pressure on the Welsh Government to introduce Lucy’s Law. Find your Assembly Member here:
