Behind C.A.R.I.A.D. are dedicated people who have witnessed first-hand the horrors of battery farmed dogs and puppies. We are dedicated to ending puppy farming and making legislative changes at the highest level. We seek to inform and educate the public, and to promote rescue at all stages of our work.
Unfortunately, this all costs money and without the financial support of the general public and our sponsors we would struggle to do a fraction of what we do.
Being sponsored by caring, ethical companies is a huge help to our work. So if you or your employer would like to become a sponsor of C.A.R.I.A.D. we would love to hear from you – whether it be with a financial donation or perhaps even a donation of goods that we can use to fundraise with. All offers are most gratefully received. Simply email us at firstname.lastname@example.org any time.
Our main puppy farming leaflet has been kindly sponsored by Hope Rescue . Hope Rescue was established in 2005. The majority of the dogs they help are stray dogs from Local Authority pounds who would otherwise be destroyed after completing their statutory 7 days in the pound. Their ethos is that “no-one gets left behind irrespective of age, breed or medical condition”. Hope Rescue also take in dogs from owners who can no longer care for them.
We’ve been incredibly lucky to become part of the Ecotricity programme. Through their generosity it now means that for every household that wants to support a greener Britain and switches their energy supply to Ecotricity, they will donate up to £60 to C.A.R.I.A.D. when you quote CARIAD1. Find out more here.
At every step of our fundraising effort we promise to be 100% transparent. Something that the people who battery farm dogs, and those who continue to profit from this misery, certainly aren’t.
